Oreo Balls Recipe
This recipe is great if you’re a non-baker like me! I’ll throw down in the kitchen but ask me to bake something and be happy if it makes it to the oven! This is a no bake recipe, no fancy tools or supplies needed! You only need 3 ingredients!
Crush your Oreos down as much as possible, use the whole cookie. You want crumbs as small as possible.
Mix the Oreo and cream cheese really well. Make sure its not too cold, it will be difficult to mix. I put on gloves and mix it with my hands to really get in there.
Scoop and roll the batter into little balls, placing them aside. You’re going to freeze them for about 20 minutes before the next step.
Melt your dark chocolate. Place it in a microwave safe bowl and place it in for increments of 20 seconds, stirring well, until fully melted.
Once your chocolate is melted, you’re going to very carefully dip the Oreo ball in the chocolate, coating it entirely. You can use tongs, toothpicks, whatever works for you. Once fully coated, place your Oreo ball aside on parchment paper and pop it in the freezer!
Optional - You can melt the white chocolate to use as drizzle, or coat the whole thing if white chocolate is more your taste.
This is great for a just because snack or if you need to bring something to a gathering, you can really dress these up and make them fancy by incorporate food coloring and sprinkles to really dress it up! I usually top mine off with shredded coconut or crushed Oreo and use it as sprinkle.
