Spring Reading List 2025

Spring reading has been filled with memoirs! Probably one of my favorite genres, anything based in truth I enjoy reading. Here’s the list!

The House of My Mother by Shari Franke

This was my favorite read of the month. Very well written, highly self aware and full of information that matters. I feel for Shari, Chad and all the Franke siblings. Despite how terrible her situation was, I found comfort in relating to her story. Being the oldest daughter from an abusive household having the pressure of wanting to save our siblings while being ostracized and forced to survive under extreme circumstances.

Counting the Cost by Jill Duggar

Interesting to hear from the perspective of one of the oldest Duggar children and the contrast from Michelle’s book. I’ve seen the stories in social media the last few years, detailing the feud between Jill and her parents, very interesting to hear her story.

The Path Made Clear by Oprah

This was an ‘in the shower’ kind of book for me. Hearing words of wisdom from influential people, speaking on their spiritual journey of life and the lessons they learned, was better absorbed when I was in a meditative state. The book inspired me to keep on my spiritual path and validated my experience. Very quick read!
