October 2025 Wrap Up
This month was a big month for me. I had many important appointments (all within the same week too), most I was dreading for the better part of the year. I’m so happy 2025 is almost over. Once the clock struck midnight on November 1 it felt like a universal reset. The hard months are over and now I can focus on the best time of the year! I think the best time of year starts in September as the weather starts to cool and the world starts looking a little more orange.
The rest of this year entails making content and working on my Christmas product launch. Christmas collection will be available on my shop on Thanksgiving Day! Which means it is GO time! I can’t wait to share what I have been working on, I just need to focus and manage my time well and all should go according to plan :)
Halloween was on a Friday this year which lines up a perfectly little fall weekend, including Daylight Savings Time ending on Sunday. I spent Halloween working, making cinnamon rolls and enjoying time outside. Although there was no trick or treating, we were still able to enjoy the crisp air and the crunchy leaves on the floor when walking our dogs.
We gazed at the Halloween decorations placed all around the neighborhood as the sun was going down. The community was lively, with kids playing in groups and people dressed in all sorts of costumes walking around, leaving for their Halloween parties. The air had Smokey undertones from a bon fire near by and brought back memories of camping as child. It almost felt nostalgic, somewhat safe, like something I have only seen recently in movies.
Saturday was spent unboxing Christmas! I put on a playlist of classic Christmas songs, lugged the Christmas box out from storage, opened the red lid and had all its contents out within minutes. The wall art being gently placed back up, trinkets finding their way back onto shelfs and countertops.
I decorate with what would be considered 90’s style, scalloping tinsel under the counter tops, filling the home with warm lighting and lots of red, white and a hint of green. We put up our Christmas tree, which is just a mini tree we keep on the counter top. We placed the sparkly red tree skirt rimmed with white fluff at the foot of the tree, dressed it in mini ornaments, candy canes and tinsel.
Sunday was a continuation of relaxing and Christmas decorating. After we turned the clocks back one hour, my husband hung the lights all throughout house and the leafy autumn garland on our shelves. I made a pot of lentil soup, lit a holiday candle and binged some RHONJ. During commercials I would add gift ideas to my list for my loved ones and myself. I like to make gifts as well as purchase some, I think the best gifts are more meaningful rather than expensive.
Overall it was a wonderful Halloween weekend, filled with delicious smells and cozy vibes. Now I am off to finish some work and begin winding down for the night. I hope everyone had a safe, happy holiday. Up next, Thanksgiving!
