Spice Jar Revamp
It has been a very long goal of mine to eventually spruce up my spice jars and make things a bit more organized. I am not a fan of clutter or chaos, I am all about the aesthetic baby! Don’t get me wrong, if my tool/gadget doesn’t first serve some type of utilitarian purpose, I wont buy it. I like functionality above fashion, but if Im adding something to my home it has to go with the rest of it.
I remember growing up and feeling anxious when I opened the cabinets to get a dish or grab a snack from the pantry. I remember getting this overwhelming feeling and thinking from a young age “when I grow up, I’m going to have all my dishes match and everything is going to be organized!”
Flash forward to 2024, where the jars I’ve had my eye on went on sale and I bought a set. I purchased them on Amazon, here’s the direct link if you’re interested! They came with 24 glass jars, lids and shaker tops, a funnel (which I dont use honestly), a white label pen & an assortment of labels that work cohesively for organizing.
I have used all my jars, the shaker tops latch on nicely and have not come loose/fall off. I went with a minimal use of the labels, I like the white font and without having them numbered it allows a little more freedom for how its put back, while still keeping the clean and tidy feel.
It really does make you feel some type of way when cooking lol I enjoy opening my spice cabinet now and seeing exactly which spice I need without having to sift through containers of all different sizes seemingly thrown together.
